you are moving the script from either a PC or Mac to a Unix server.

After moving this tar
(tape archive)
file to a temp directory, issue the command:
tar xvf birdseye.tar
Place the birdseye.html file in your html directory, and the
birdseye.cgi in your cgi-bin directory.
